Comfrey Cream is made from Comfrey (symphytum officinale), a historical herb, which grows in profusion in the UK. It is traditionally known as an effective cream for skin healing, and as a skin food.
Comfrey Cream is historically known as “knitbone” for its renowned healing properties, Comfrey helps in cases of open wounds, cuts and scratches, by promoting cell renewal. Comfrey is known as a rapid healer of skin tissue and because of this, it is vital that the wound is clean before application.
It has been used topically with some success in the treatment of Psoriasis. Comfrey cream can be applied to wounds and leg ulcers and can be used to help heal brusing, athletes’ foot, sprains etc.
Comfrey is not recommended for internal consumption.
Comfrey Cream is available in a 30gm pot for £6.49 or a 60gm for £10.99.
